The master thesis will deal with the possible increase in efficiency of power plants that use internal combustion engines for power generation. The energy that leaves the engines in the form of hot flue gases will be used as much as possible by means of a flue gas boiler and a steam turbine. The steam turbine will consist of three modules. In the thesis, a brief theory will be presented in each section, accompanied by a calculation. In addition, schematic drawings of longitudinal sections for the individual modules of the steam turbine will be constructed, as well as a drawing of the layout of the turbine and generator.
